Anne is one of the first in her family to study at university, as well as work for one. She holds a degree in Philosophy, an MBA, and professional qualifications in teaching, marketing and project management. During the pandemic, Anne also began a professional coaching apprenticeship. She is happiest around horses and horticulture and is slowly getting used to Yorkshire winters since relocating here from London in 2020.
Anne joined Advance HE in spring 2022, after 20 years in roles in London’s international Further and Higher Education sector. Her recent career has focussed on leading the advancement and delivery of international academic and commercial strategy for University College London (UCL). At UCL, Anne led a forward-thinking (and very friendly!) high-performing international team of commercially focused marketing, communications and finance professionals in the Centre for Languages & International Education. She has also enjoyed work as a HE consultant for the University of Oxford and the London Mayor at City Hall.
