Maggie Winter

Maggie has just completed the FdSc in Health and Social Care. She love her job working with terminally ill and end of life patients and has just been accepted on an Adult Nursing programme starting in September 2024. Maggie won the Chamber Challenge in 2023 after creating a colouring book for children called 'What's happening?' which was inspired after seeing the lack of resources available to children who are facing the bereavement of a parent or loved one. The book explains what is happening to their loved one in a way that is factual and sensitive, giving them the knowledge to prepare themselves for what to expect when they do pass away. Since winning the Chamber Challenge Maggie’s book is now in a local Funeral Directors and nine Care Homes across the country.
