This project is part of the 2020 Good Practice Grants, which helped Advance HE members to develop and share innovative practice.
This qualitative study looks at the Sanctuary Schemes initiated at the University of South Wales and explores the impact of language provision on applicants to the university, current students and also graduates from the schemes. The views of 15 individual Sanctuary Scheme applicants were gathered through semi-structured interviews and questionnaires. Email exchanges also provided supplementary data to assist with further clarification where needed.
