Afsan Yusaf Redwan is a dedicated educator and scholar passionate about innovative teaching pedagogies, enrichment and ethical leadership. Currently a PhD candidate in Theology and Religious Studies at Cardiff University,. Afsan has written book chapters and articles on Science pedagogy for UK Muslim schools, Pastorality in Muslim schools, and enrichment pedagogy. He has presented at academic conferences, around pedagogy, Quranic hermeneutics, and environmental ethics.
As a former Deputy Headteacher, Afsan has demonstrated leadership in curriculum development, pastoral care, and staff training. His active involvement in professional associations like the Islam UK Centre Cardiff and The Bedford College Group underlines his dedication to advancing higher education within further education colleges.
