e-Learning Courses

Supporting you to create places of learning and employment that welcome diversity, nurture talent and create sustainable change.

Our e-Learning courses have been carefully designed using both our long standing sector expertise, and our equality diversity and inclusion expertise. We understand the sector, the challenges you face and the unique context of the higher education environment. Our courses are designed considering these aspects to help support your equality, diversity and inclusion goals.

Key Features:

  • The courses are reflective and provide tools for the participant to take away
  • They can be hosted on your existing VLE or LMS
  • They are tailorable to your institution: you can embed your own institutional data, policies and can include an introduction from an institution sponsor to set the context.

We have courses available for all staff within your institution and we also offer a student facing course which can be completed by all students so you can work towards a fully inclusive campus experience. Explore the available courses below.

The courses are available to purchase on an institutional licence only

The Race Equity training is well-designed, thorough, and provides an appropriate level of challenge to staff. It has provoked discussion, reflection and changes in policy and behaviour amongst staff; it has also been extremely well-received."

Freedom of Speech and Academic Freedom micro eLearning courses with GoodCourse

Advance HE has partnered with leading EdTech provider GoodCourse, with input from University of Warwick, to co-create expert-backed micro-learning courses that promote free speech and academic freedom – to improve student outcomes as well as campus relations.

This collaboration is particularly significant given the new OfS compliance requirements, post the enactment of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act 2023, which sees English universities required to actively promote free speech and a renewed focus on fostering tolerant debate.

Leveraging the research and legal expertise of Advance HE and Warwick, combined with the next generation learning design and delivery pedigree of GoodCourse, the partnership enables universities to make use of high impact micro-learning courses with both students and staff.

For further information and to try this new micro-learning approach, please reach out to Chris Mansfield at GoodCourse on chris.mansfield@goodcourse.co
