Our approach

Advance HE’s Curriculum Review Tool is designed to support the integration of Advance HE’s Student Success Framework Series across a programme of study. Drawing on Biggs’ model of Constructive Alignment the relationships between Intended Learning Outcomes, Teaching Activities and Assessment Methods are reviewed through the nine lenses of Advance HE’s Essential Framework for Enhancing Student Success.

We take a baseline+ approach that develops consistency of practice across your portfolio, identifying and promoting the adoption of good practice across teams to raise the overall standard of educational provision:

Programme teams are introduced to CRT and the underpinning frameworks

Evaluation

Programme teams use the CRT to conduct an honest evaluation of current provision

Programme leaders work with an Advance HE consultant to identify and target areas for development
