Advance HE is an End-Point Assessment Organisation for higher apprenticeships. We have been on the Department for Education’s formal Register of End-Point Assessment Organisations since January 2019 and have been administering End-Point Assessments (EPAs) since November 2019. In that time, we have assessed well over 500 hundred apprentices.
We are externally quality assured by Ofqual, which demonstrates our robust approach to EPA, and provides employers, training providers and apprentices with the confidence that they will receive a consistent, efficient and valid EPA service.

Our offer
Currently we offer EPA for two Level 7 apprenticeship standards: Academic Professional, and Systems Thinking Practitioner. Details of both can be found below in the ‘Find out more’ section.
We will also be expanding our offer in the future and will update this page accordingly when we do. If you are delivering an apprenticeship standard and would like us to consider being the EPAO for it, please get in touch and we can discuss our options.

Connected: The EPA Team are with you every step of the way: holding quarterly service calls; hosting quarterly coffee mornings; and delivering EPA Orientation sessions for apprentice cohorts.
Professional, expert-driven and sector-led: Development of our service for each standard is guided by a Reference Group of sector experts, and our pool of independent assessors are also all experts in their respective field with experience of assessing at Level 7.
