Each year we consult with our members on where and how we can support them in meeting the many challenges in higher education today. By tackling important sector concerns collectively, the funding awarded by Advance HE helps our members to find new solutions and benefit from the shared learning of what works.
“I’m delighted to be launching our Collaborative Development Fund for 2022-23 as we aim to support shared learning and enhancement activity by funding a range of innovative and exciting project initiatives”Nick Skeet,
Associate Director (Membership & Accreditation)
Introducing the 2022-23 Collaborative Development Fund Projects
The projects announced in the first tranche of funding are:
Beyond The Classroom: Supporting Student Outcomes
The Beyond the Classroom project is to collate and curate a small number of institutional case studies that identify and explain how new forms of working and organisational collaboration support good student outcomes (progression, retention, graduate outcomes) by creating transformation activities outside the formal classroom experience.
The Sustainable Institutions Project: An Evidence Informed Review Of Good Practice
The Sustainable Institutions Project is to review examples of sustainable institutions from around the globe to provide our members with an evidence-based review of current best practice for developing as sustainable institutions. It will also support their understanding of the need to take a strategic approach to sustainability across all their areas of operation.
Collaborative Development Fund Projects 2021-22
New challenges, new solutions. The 2021-22 Collaborative Development Fund supported the development of our members by addressing key sector challenges together, through a series of five projects:
- Inclusive institutions: enabling and supporting culture change
- College-based HE Network: a collaborative space for developing HE culture and practice
- Exploring a holistic approach to equality, diversity and inclusion
- The Future Student Experience Project
- Utilising the Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning for Strategic Change
